Description
This Freightliner M2106 digger derrick is built for utility crews who need a capable Terex Commander 4047 on a 4x4 chassis that can get to the pole. The 4047 lifts 24,750 lbs, handles 11,000 lbs at 10', and reaches a max sheave height of 47.4', covering heavy pole sets and long-reach work in one unit. Continuous unrestricted rotation, a fiberglass-topped three-stage boom, and single-stick T-handle controls keep operation straightforward, while the 15,000 lb turntable winch, 18" carbide tooth auger, and 2-5/8" kelly bar are all part of the package. Heavy duty A-frame outriggers with swivel feet, an outrigger boom interlock, and a moving outrigger alarm make setup stable and safer. The 4x4 layout, driver-controlled differential lock, and 35,000 lb GVWR provide traction on soft ground and capacity for the full rig. Cummins L9 power at 300 hp through an Allison 3000 RDS, air brakes, an integral exhaust brake, and an engine block heater keep the drivetrain dependable and cold-ready. The 168" steel line body adds hotstick storage, outrigger storage, adjustable compartment shelving, a 30 ton pintle hitch, and a 50' twin hydraulic hose reel, so the truck arrives ready to work.
